SportDog SDF-100 In-Ground Dog Fence
Safe and effective for all dogs over 10 pounds, the SportDOG Brand In-Ground Fence System can cover up to 100 acres. Installation is a simple as installing the wire around the perimeter and plugging in the transmitter with the included adapter. Your dog wears a collar that receives a signal from the wire if he ventures too close to the perimeter. Follow the included training instructions to get your dog used to his new boundaries and your dog will be staying safe at home in no time.
System includes:
- Collar-receiver provides four adjustable correction levels plus beep and vibrate-only modes
- One collar-receiver included. System expands to include any number of dogs with purchase of additional collar-receivers (Model SDF-R)
- Low-battery indicator
- Collar uses a standard 9-volt battery (included). Up to 9 months use from a single battery.
- Built-in lightning protection
- Wire-break alarm on transmitter
- "Anti-linger" feature on collar keeps dog from constantly testing the boundary by gradually increasing the correction level
- 1,000 feet of 20 gauge solid copper wire and 100 Boundary Flags
- 2 Waterproof Splices
How It Works: Safe and effective for all dogs over 10 pounds; the system delivers mild corrections through two contact points on the collar that touch your dog's neck. If your dog crosses the established boundary, a correction will be sent to get your dog's attention, but will not harm him/her. You can customize the level of correction to match your dog's temperament, and the adjustable collar allows you to create a perfect fit for your dog.
